Wedding Photography
Gemma offers beautiful and relaxed reportage style wedding photography. She likes to capture the events throughout the day as naturally as possible. This gives you a really personal feel to your photographs. With experience Gemma has found that no two weddings are ever the same, and therefore each package is bespoke to suit your requirements.
Wedding Albums
A Wedding album is a really important part of any photography package that you choose. This is where the story comes to life from your special day and becomes a beautiful editorial. Gemma offers a range of different books to suit the style of your Wedding day. You can choose a stunning luxury Italian album by the highly acclaimed “Graphi Style” giving you a quality book that will be a wow to all who see it. Gemma will design your page layouts to enhance your images. For the more classic feel, you may prefer a beautiful Italian made book with prints on beautiful photographic paper, hand mounted onto the page. This has a slightly vintage feel and is a lovely way to present a select few, hand picked photographs from your special day.
Disk
Many photographers will not include the disk of photographs for whatever price you offer them. If they do, you rarely receive them at high resolution, let alone with lovely crops and colour effects. The resolution is the quality of your digital image, like your negative and if it is low, then you cannot print a decent image from the file. Gemma has her own view on this and would like to share it with you.
"When my parents married back in the 70's they chose their first selection of images from the negatives provided by their photographer. They did not choose many to start with, so went back a little after their Wedding day to purchase some more, but to their sadness during this time the photographer had damaged their negatives and so it was not possible to get any others at all. The photographs they do have are beautiful, but they always feel it would have been nice to get a lot more to keep forever. With this in mind, I do not feel it is right for me to keep your images and to make you pay for each individual picture that you have on a disk. In all of my Wedding Day Packages I will edit your images, create some beautiful crops, black & white, sepia and colour effects, and then you will have on your disk an exact copy of what I have from your Wedding day. There is no number limit to your disk of images, it simply depends on how many I shot that day. I love to think that you get to choose your favourites from a selection, because that is what I would like to do if I were getting married".
Meeting
Photographing a Wedding is a very personal experience as you are letting a complete stranger into the most intimiate day of your life. Gemma likes to offer you the chance to meet in person to discuss your wedding plans so that you can get to know each other, and see more of her portfolio. The more at ease you are together, the better your photographs will look on the day. If the venue is new to Gemma, where possible she will try to make a visit before your wedding date. This allows her to be more familiar with the surroundings, and a great excuse to catch up with you once again. By the time your wedding day arrives she hopes you will feel comfortable and at home in her company.
